I wish I'd got as many pounds as we've done it - I'd be rich! I know to leave him when he's like that otherwise it just makes things worse. He's nearly always asleep when I go up afterwards, or if he isn't I just ignore him and go to sleep myself. It sorts itself out eventually.

A row is sometimes healthy as it clears the air. We've been together on and off for thirty two years and married for 24 next month. I think our rows have bought us closer together.

We just tend to have minor disagreements now and five minutes later it's forgotten.

I'm like you skip, I can't go to bed on an arguement. Usually one of us changes the silence by offering a cuppa LOL

Foggy thats amazing, ten years and no arguements. I wish LOL.

Strangely we have never had a disagreement to row about or anything to clear the air over.

I'm the mardy one not him, I admit it! He only says one thing wrong and I'm like a bottle of pop. An awkward one me, not that you'd have noticed lol x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I've only been in from work just over an hour and already we've had a fall out over buying a new sofa!!
Think I need some tips from you Foggy please.
I'm definately the volatile one and it winds me up so much when I don't get a reaction back.
Can't bear going to bed on an argument though so time to put the kettle on x

We're going through a good patch at the moment - not even a minor disagreement (hope I'm not tempting fate here!)

Foggy, we may well be having a Frugal Friends BBQ in the summer at my house again, and my garden isn't that big so you'll have to stand with us if you come - LOL!

dave, hope you found something nice for the missus for today LOL.
I go her some lovely flowers on the way home - they always work a treat!

The best bit was she forgot all about it (i'm not too bothered but a new Xbox game would've been a nice gift! lol)

I'm definately 1-0 up in our household at the moment haha

theres only ever been one year we both missed the date, sort of, it was nearly bedtime when we realised what date it was. Mind you it was also the day we moved into this house so we forgave each other LOL.

We don't tend to do a lot for valentines day either. x
See your point. Normally we give presents to each other, at least a card. In the evening we have a bottle of wine with some tasty food )) We try to do something to make this day a special one. Usually I like to buy unique presents. This year I’ve bought one of the best for him online. I’ve found an amazing "Message in a Bottle" for him. It looks nice!

Last years valentines day was the worst! My other half decided to go out the day before and get completly drunk (the worst i have ever seen him) and passed out in the front room. I go to bed and leave him only to wake up to find him covered in sick and he had urinated all over the kitchen, lounge! I was not too please! I was the one that had to clear it up as he was too "ill" to do anything! He had better make more of an effort this year!

Our anniversaries are great as we met at the stroke of midnight on NYEve so will always remember our anniversary.
