If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s, we’d grab ours back.

Now I'll never be up for that! I hate camping!

I did really basic (and I do mean basic!) camping as a police cadet, and then we did a holiday to the South of France in a much better tent - until the mice got in the cases and bit through a lot of clothes (not good when you open a case to see a mouse staring at you!)

It has to be all mod cons for me these days.

When I go on holiday I like the accomodation to be there already - I don't intend to tow it or put it up myself!

Not my idea of a holiday but I know lots of people who swear by it, having said it's not my idea, I've not been so shouldn't judge x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I would rather watch paint dry than go camping again!

I have totally roughed it with things like chemical toilets and having to clean out same and bury the contents - and the mice with slightly better acommodation (not en suite though!), the least I would do now is B&B but it must be en suite!

Camping Tips for Kallis ...

Get even with a badger who raided your food bag by kicking his favorite den apart and eating all the worms.

A hot rock placed in your sleeping bag will keep your feet warm. A hot chilli burger works almost as well, but the cheese sticks between your toes.

The best backpacks are named for parks or mountain ranges. Steer clear of those named for landfills.

When camping, always wear a long-sleeved shirt. It gives you something to wipe your nose on.

A two-man pup tent does not include two men or a pup.

A potato baked in the coals for one hour makes an excellent side dish. A potato baked in the coals for three hours makes an excellent hockey puck.

In emergency situations, you can survive in the wilderness by shooting small game with a slingshot made from the elastic waistband of your underwear.

Have a great day xxx
