I actually went food shopping today with my daughter.......how i wish i hadn't.
Not only did she fleece me for everything that took her fancy (clothes) but Asda was completely packed.
We parked on the multi-storey carpark and had to go onto floor 3.
When we got back to the lifts they were playing up. My daughter was going mad shouting about how her mum cant push a trolley up the ramps to the 3rd floor.....we had 2 trolleys.
We decided to take a chance with the lift and luckily for us it took us to where we needed to be.
Theres always something you forget to do while you are there so tomorrow i have to go back into town..........with a 5 year old who wants everything he sees.

I was in Azda this morning. The queues were quite literally 20 people deep, all with loaded trollies. Of the 2 tills I watched (sat in the coffee shop), not one person paid with cash. Most seemed to be paying with credit cards, not debit cards.

Truly scary.

I've just got back from Tesco, believing it would be quiet and I could get my last few bits and bobs, and it was absolute pandemonium. I had quite forgotten how hideous shopping at this time of the year actually is. Hubby will be going tomorrow with a list for the last few items - I am far too ill to brave that lot again!
