Morning.
I think my IVA was based on my earning £1950.I have been trying to seek clarification on this since September last year.I stopped paying ay extra in then as I had not had a pay rise and was paying an increase electric bill.Didn't get permission. In the end got fed up of asking/struggling and stopped sending cheques.Since then been asking for DFD to clarify the extra clause as the mods contradict each other.
I began to earn £350 more in Dec and my annual review was bsaed on this figure.I don't think I had any increase to IVA.They haven't let me know if I have. However, do you think I should have been paying some of the extra into the IVA.I haven't done.I don't have any saved (various reasons- large bills etc)
Is it feasable that an IVA over a 6 year period can be based on one figure for the duration of 6 years? It was only at the time of approval that this was mentioned to me and I have never understood what I should be doing.
So constantly worried that IVA will fail. When I ring or email I'm told it's on trck and nothing to worry about
More sleepless night now that before IVA

Hi cat 1 - if DFD has told you everything on track then don't worry - everything is fine.

Tele2002 and Andy are spot on with their advice and needs no more amplification from me.

Hi David
Reassuring to hear this, but I can't help being pre-occupied with the origional £1950 income figure that the IVA was based around.Like I said if I earn say £2000 I would have send the additional £25 in monthly. This has nver been mentioned by DFD ( Clearstart did the IVA it changed over hands) Therefore, it's all very confusing.Clealry, I'm managing significanlty better at the moment, but certainly haven't saved the possible ££175 each month.Worried if they suddenly decide I have to then my IVA will fail.
Everyone's IVA seems very different to me.No precise rules so very easy to get wrong.
Thanks
Cat

If they have missed re-assessing you then don't worry as the increase if any can only commence from when they ask - if you now think the extra is due - start saving it after taking into account any increases in your expenditure. So don't worry please. In any event they will not fail your IVA where they are the ones that have made the mistake.

Great - try and explain slowly and carefully - or put it in a letter/email to them
