How are partners savings and shares(windfall) judged in the number crunching?
I presume kids savings are safe?

Hi jordan

Your partner's assets will not form part of your IVA or bankruptcy, and your childrens' monies will also be completely safe.

Hi all,
i have a similar worry. i live with my BoyF and he has all the mortgage ect in his sole name. but we are both concerned that my trust deed (scotland) will affect his home and business. i have no financial ties with him, financially we are 2 seperate people. will his home be blacklisted because of me? will his business suffer?

It will depend upon whether you have developed a beneficial interest in the property or not. As you are dealing with an IP already, what is their advice in this regard?

the property has nothing to do with me. i simply live there. i havent asked my IP about it yet. i only contribute £75pm to housekeeping/mortgage as a token. all the deeds and financial connection to the property is solely with my partner

I suggest that you ask your IP about this as soon as possible to set your mind at rest.
