Your post was, once again, inspiring, and I am actually looking forward to moving on and becomming debt free. No matter what happens it can't be worse than what has already happened.....
Thanks [:)],

Hi All,
Sorry I'm having memory failure!
What is IPA? I know I know the answer, but I just can't get it to the front of my memory - the joys of old age and financial worries!!

Hi and Thanks Kallis,
That's what I thought but isn't it funny how you doubt yourself at times like this??!!
I take it that is the amonunt of disposable income you can give to the OR?
I hope you are well and thank you so much for all your help and support.
Chardonnay xx

I'm fine thank you Chardonnay.

An IPA is made if you have over £100 disposable income a month after your priority bills are paid. You would be expected to pay between 50-70% of that.

Thanks jojo,
To be honest it can only get better. I just want to be able to live yet have enough left over for essentials. I missed a family funeral as I couldn't afford to travel and that hurts. I have no idea when I will have enough spare cash to go and say goodbye and pay my respects.
You have been inspiring, lets hope mine goes as well!!
Thanks again,
Chardonnay

Hi everyone! Well it's been a couple of weeks now since the bankruptcy and we sent back all our paperwork yesterday to the OR - it was like two books with all the IVA paperwork in it! I'm glad they pay the postage! Will hopefully hear from them soon if there are any probs! Hubbies car failed it's mot miserably this week and we can't afford to fix it, but as he's worked on cars before he's going to leave it on drive and do it himself over the next couple of weeks. In the IVA this wouldn't have been an option, but now we can afford to buy the parts!
I have also just lost part of one of my teeth and the filling is coming out! Phoned dentist helpline and it's not an emergency and I'm not registered with a dentist as there are non taking on nhs patients around here! I have just had a look at private prices and have decided I will just have to live with it!

Nice to see you being so positive jojo. Glad that things are coming together for you.

I do hope the rest of your filling stays put!

Hi Jan, thanks. I really hope it does too! I don't fancy going to the dentist and I really don't want to pay a fortune for the pleasure!

Don't blame you! Your teeth probably cause you more trouble than anything in your body and they cost a fortune!
