Having lived or should i say "scraped" within my means for the 6 years of my IVA, i really have learned the value of money which perhaps, as I hadnt used any of my own for perhaps 10yrs pre IVA, I had forgotten

I still find it strange when I dither over potential purchases these days; even though im awaiting my Certificate so have spare cash, I found myself today contemplating did i need to buy the Bold Gel Tesco at £3.49 just because it was on offer. Go back 7 yrs ago and I would have cleared the shelf !!

Like i suppose many posters on the forum, I have found the true value of money a little late in Life ( im 46 ) although in fairness I am rather enjoying my disposable income now, as in reality, the last 10 years ie 6 in IVA & the 4 years prior to that, I didnt have a bean to my name[8D]

although I would say whilst theres light at the end of the tunnel, its not bright enough for any sign of a completion certificate !![:o)]

good news for you though is that hopefully by the time you have made your last payment, closure times will be back to what they were pre PPI etc

We had our c of c on saturday, checked the register tonight and our names have gone.
