Hi everyone - thank you for your kind messages. See what I mean about the kind words???? This is so the place to be for any debt-related advice you need.

Managed to get into work today - took me five hours (on a bus, then a train, then another bus), but I made it after two days of sitting at home watching the snow fall! There is only so much dancing with a hoover you can do isn't there?

I hope everyone is safe - take care!

Julie x
IVA Completed - 5 January 2010. Yay!!

Took us three attempts to drive out of the estate this morning but we made it, so it will be back to work for me tomorrow.

Have to say that I haven't done any dancing with the hoover! Been on here, out with the dogs or watching the cricket.

Julie, I admire you, I've walked into a local learning centre today as I can log onto a server that is linked to the main campus to work, it was as though I was practicing for Dancing on Ice....we've not got much snow either...let's see what tomorrow brings.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Unfortunately I can't do my job from anywhere other than my normal place of work. I did have a few days holiday left though so not a problem.

Julie,
Firstly well done and hopefully the future is looking all the better being debt free. Secondly, like yourself I found this site in april 2009 to be of great help, not only with the excellent advice, but the caring words from people who have been in the same situation. Now after months of worrying and finally after 2 attempts at IVA and a short term DMP, I too am on the way to being debt free, 2 months down,58 (short) months to go.
All thev very best to you and your family for the future. Its looking bright, its debt free....[:D]
Onwards and Upwards...
