I just checked the Insolvency Register and our names are removed! I've also got the certificate of completion which was a joy to read.

This is such a great feeling I can't tell you.

I have to say, without this forum I couldn't have done it with a year (more likely 2 years) to spare.

Thank you so much to Melanie, Kallis and many others who have given time to answer questions. Your input made a huge difference.

I have been offered a Gold account with NatWest and am off now to open it. Happy days!

Good luck to all! Thanks again.

Congrats Darth, doesn't it feel good! Of interest, how long did it take for your name to come off the register? We got our certificates of completion on Monday, but still showing on the register today...

all best

It's the greatest feeling in the world at the time, well done.

Martin, I clicked on report an error on mine, told them I have the certificate of completion and the date and it was off a day or two later.

May be worth a try, nothing to lose

Hi all.
Thank you for all your kind comments.
Martin. The F&F came through officially Wednesday and I was off the reigister the very next day!

Unfortunately I cannot get any account. On the phone I was accepted but when I went with my ID to the bank I cannot get the merest account. I have put a complaint in.
They can't understand why and nor can I. There are 2 defaults on Equifax still but there would have been loads before. The woman at the Bank said she has opened loads of accounts with people with IVA's too.
What is annoying is being accepted on the phone but unable to get accepted when processed. How annoying is that. On top of that I got a parking ticket. Forgot to get one being as it was a supermarket car park Doh!
