Ok I see - Would that still be the case if they got an CCJ and applied ot the court for a charge? I only ask because that was what they were threatening, if I either didn't up the payments (which I can't afford) or agree to this voluntary charge.

If the charge was enforced against you in the normal course of proceedings this is a different matter, but you remain unwise to ignore your other creditors whilst sitting back and allowing this to happen.
