You will not make matters worse by making a complaint, but I would certainly get Paul to assist you as they will then know that you mean business.

There is no need for this person to be nasty. The only way she gets her wages paid is by acting for people like yourself, and courtesy and politeness costs nothing. Of course I do realise that there are usually two sides to each story, so put Paul into battle on your behalf as he loves a challenge like this one!

Just wanted to say good luck Dawn.

I'd also like to add how heartened that I am that people can come here clearly feeling stressed about situations they find themselves in, and there is so much great advice and best of all, it's FREE.

Respect to all the IVA helpers that give so much of their time on top of the work they do outside this forum. I just wish I had come here before I took out my IVA with Debtmatters - you might have had another client Melanie !
There's light at the end of the tunnel - it's just that sometimes the tunnel seems so long.

Well at least I am here to give you an alternative viewpoint, and that is good enough for me!

HI DAWN

that would be great - there is obviously a degree of urgency about this so grateful if you could put a contact number on the email.

also i will divert the company 0845 number over the weekend incase you need a chat

don't worry there is always a solution - we just haven't found it yet.

Given the earlier posts I am surprised at what would appear to be an extremely hard line that is being taken here. Whilst I know there are often 2 sides to every story, your IP does appear to be on a mission. In those circumstances you do need someone to work rather more closely with you than can be achieved simply through posting on this forum.

Calling in help is a great idea. I'm sure Paul will look after you.

God, how does this woman sleep at nights????? Something very bad has obviously happened to her to turn her this bitter!!!!!! Totally unprofessional!!!!!!
Dawn, stay with it and let Paul help you, he's better equiped to deal with this bully than you are at the moment. Seems as if she has whittled away the bit of confidence and dignity you had left. Don't let her win!!!
The very best of luck and a big pat on the back Paul for helping Dawn with this, xxxxx
It's nice to be back......

Hi, still in a bad way not knowing what to do. Have been advised that the best way is now getting a re-mortgage,because if I was made bankrupt like by supervisor is trying to do, we will lose our home and I will probably lose everything else (husband, family and job). My question is my husband has asked if it might be a good idea if he wrote to the supervisor and promised her that he would make sure the payments would be paid every month by direct debit straight from his wages when it goes into the bank account on the 1st of every month. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Dawn.

I am sure that if your husband is prepared to guarantee the payments, this will assist in rectifying your current difficulties.

If you wish to explore a remortgage, I suggest that you contact Andrew Graveson or Tony Parsons who are both regular contributors to the forum, and experts at raising finance in the adverse credit marketplace.

Thanks Melanie, my husband would rather us keep paying the monthly payments instead of getting a remortgage but obviously if that is our only way out then we will have to seriously think of doing this. I will let him know and hopefully he will write to her over the weekend. I have to write to her before Wednesday with a letter to my creditors as she is caling a meeting with them should I get my husband to put this to them as well? Thanks Dawn

Make sure whether they feel your husband's guarantee is reasonable, and that they are prepared to recommend it to creditors.

Thanks Melanie for your advice. My husband will write to her over the weekend. My only worry is that i have a feeling she is on a mission to make me bankrupt and she will not accept this offer and not offer this to the creditors but we can only try. Regards Dawn.
