Hi, just been reading through some of the posts on the forum and noticed that you can check the insolvency register online. Had a quick look and the search came back without a match. After searching without my first name, i found myself; the problem is that they have miss-spelled my 1st name. should i be worried about this?

Many thanks in advance.

p.s is there a rough timescale for how long it takes from putting in an offer for a full and final - till its accepted (or turned down).
cheers

p.p.s - has anyone used the experian credit check report recently? I used it before i started my iva in 03 it must have been i thought it was pretty hard to understand. Looking at their site today however, the report seems much easier...

Not really as it does not affect you - and in a way it leaves you more difficult to find.

There are no set timescales for responses to offers of full and final settlement, but our of courtesy your IP should get back to you within 7 days in some shape or format.

Good point - and one to keep track of as and when it happens! But the Insolvency Service work on the basis of your registration number and not your name, so I am sure it won't be a problem.
