Worried!! I'm currently living at parents as my wife and I split up and will get divorced. My iva has just finished but when I tried to rent a property I was told by estate agent company that I'd have to pay 12 months rent in advance....is this the going rate for bad credit renters??? I'm fairly solvent now ... Thanks
Hi -- not there is no going rate and it is all down to the individual agencies, some take larger deposits, some need a guarantor ( some both!), whilst a few don't worry too much. Private landlords might be a good bet as they don't credit check.
