genrally no, if they are a creditor and part of the IVA they will withdraw all services from you!

Best to be organised and try and get a new account as soon as so things like direct debits, bills and your IVA payments wont be disrupted!

You should get a new account as soon as possible with a bank who is not one of your creditors.

The Co-op come highly recommended.

You do need to open a new account asap. If your current account provider is a creditor they will withdraw all banking services.

If you have savings with your account provider, and you have a debt owing to them, which you intend to include in your IVA, they can take those savings and off-set your savings against the debt you owe - without your permission.

Co-Op come recommended, and we have a Natwest account who are also very good.

I think it would be advisable to get a new account as others have said co-op do come highly recommended. If the Natwest aren't one of your creditors their step acount is a good one to have too. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Have to agree with all others on here, get yourself either online or to a branch of Co-Op, that is who I am with now since the IVA and they are second to none for customer services and being able to talk to.

With the Cashminder account with the Co-op, it's either apply via phone or instore. You can't do it online.
