Hi :)
IVA approved 3q August. Yay x It just feels weird cancelling all my direct debits to credit cards, loans etc....obviously getting emails and texts saying I haven't paid my minimum....is this really OK to not pay them this month
..just feels mighty strange. When will they all know that I'm in an I V A x

They all know already -- though it will take a few weeks for the information to trickle through different departments. Any payment to them made now would be a waste of money and would, in fact, be contrary to the terms of the IVA --- you cannot favour one creditor over another by making payments to them outside of the IVA.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

You can either destroy the letters or forward them on to your IP for them to deal with. Your creditors can do nothing now.

Also, that'll explain why PayPal have terminated my ability to use them which I thought was a bit strange. Nevermind, I'll just get used to paying with my good old debit card :|

Your cards will soon be defunct - if you tried to use them you would be declined with possible embarrassment in a shop!!

Gosh...can you imagine...me,thinking ooh ill get some booze in for the weekend as it'll go on credit card and then cashier says no when it comes to authorising my credit card...meanwhile a huge queue has formed behind me and they all know I have to put the bottles of spirits back...I think I'll just go and get a cheap bottle of plonk and pay for it on my debit card 8)
I'm so relieved to be out of my credit card out of control prison I call it and I feel I've actually got more disposable income 🙃

At least you know that you can't overspend - hopefully you have no overdraft on your bank account, if so then get it removed.

And don't forget, if they start ringing you just refuse to answer security questions and they have to terminate the call. No matter how much they whine that they are only trying to help you!
