How do I remortgage to release equity to pay into my IVA? I'm struggling to find a company that will let me fill in an application form, they all state ' I have not had a CCJ or been in an IVA within 6 years'.

I've found lots of websites that let me fill my details in but its putting me in touch with mortgage advisers who have had my details and not got back to me, but struggling to find a company that will let me do an online application.

I would like to remortgage and get rid of the iva but also if my application fails then I really dont mind paying the extra 12months payments to complete the 6 years.

My IVA company have asked for a decline in my remortgage in writing but I cant even get as far as starting an application?

You need to evidence you have applied, but most likely been rejected.

Ryan and or Shaun the forum mortgage experts maybe able to help you show this if you contact them direct.

If it cannot be approved then likely an extension to your iva of 12 months would be put in place.

This is a certainly a specialist area and most mortgage brokers don't really understand it, which is why you might have been ignored previously! That said, we, and other firms, have been able to help many people through this process. My advice to you at this point is to work with someone to establish your various options and then you can make an informed decision as to the best way forward for you.
