I’m in a iva and have been for a few months all my creditors have left me alone except one Creation Finance constant letters calls texts, I understand they can do that. But today I got a letter stating it’s being passed on to the debt collection if I don’t call them and pay in 7 days. I instantly called creditfix and they said they have sold on my debt and if I receive a letter from this agency to call them immediately with their details and there sort it out. Now I’m worried I’m gonna have bailiffs at my door I already lock my door when I’m alone through the day with my baby as it is let alone have this worry now.
I’m in a iva and creation finance know this? Surely they can’t get debt collectors after me when I can’t pay them

IF a debt collector shows up give him or her the details of your IP and tell them the debt is protected in an IVA. No further discussion is required.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Person over the phone said they have sent another email regarding this to them to try stop it and may take 2 days to reach them but if I receive a letter call back. Is a tad worrying as can they just walk into my house if I answer the door? Nothing in my house belongs to me all my husbands. I have everything over emails I do have letters regarding my iva and who’s the creditors. But creation finance was added on a week later after my iva was accepted but I do have a letter and email stating they have been added

A debt collector can do nothing. He or she is just an oik from the streets to try to intimidate you. If they get heavy call the police.

A bailiff CAN enter, but cannot force entry. A bailiff will not be instructed until after a court hearing, so you should have no worries there.

I agree - they can do nothing. You can threaten them that you will report them for harassment.

Oh okay thank you I didn’t realise the difference between them both you see the bailiffs and there scary enough on the tv.
But least debt collectors are not that way I’m hoping I don’t get a knock on the door and they send a letter so creditfix can stop this for me.
Thank you for informing me with this

The ones on the TV are High Court Enforcement Officers -- different again ....but even they have to make peaceful entry.

An iva could be a lawfully binding agreement between you and your creditors to assist you to pay off your debt. Most of your debts will be enclosed in associate marsh elder and once the agreement ends, any remaining balances ought to be written off.

An IVA IS a legal agreement. All debts will be written off at the successful conclusion. The OP is in an IVA.
