Hi everybody. I need help, I make big mistake. Im almost 2 years durning the iva. 3 weeks ago my car stop working vauxhall astra 2006. Mechanic said is head gasket and cambelt, to expensive for repair. My girlfriend take personal loan 6000£. She should be owner because its her money. We find a car 200 mil. from our home from private seller. We have 2 years old boy so We can't go together , so I go to see the car and I decide to buy. My girlfriend send me 5000£ and I transfer to the seller from my bank account and I give my details for New register keeper. After 3 weeks I have annual review. I start riding about assest durning iva on this forum and Im very scared. This is any chance to keep this car? What to do ? If that happend my girfiend and my son they left me because this will to much.

If it is questioned tell them that the car belongs to your girlfriend and that you were the one to go and physically buy it because she couldn't. Your girlfriend isn't in the IVA and it is no business of your IP to look at what she does with her money.
It is a pity that she transferred it to you instead of to the seller, but she was just passing on her money for you to pay for her car.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

You are just the registered keeper as we are for our daughters car - she could not get credit.

The registered keeper is not necessarily the legal owner and it does state that on the V5.
