Savings under the bed?

Regarding savings, again. If you put money in a jar for savings under the bed or wherever, at the completion of the IVA I understand you cannot then pay this money into a bank account because of money laundering laws. Is that correct, please.

You are unlikely to save an amount that would trigger money laundering regulations whilst in an IVA and, unless it was from dubious sources, you would be able to provide a paper trail as to where you got it initially anyway.

We have several pots of savings during our iva and when it got to £200 , I paid it in the bank account unless we needed it and used reference "savings from allowances" - it never got picked up.
