Hello- my IVA got accepted on Friday and feel a huge weight has been lifted.

I know it is going to be a tough 5-6 years but any tips/advice anyone has when in an IVA. Like money/spending/ limitations I may face and do's and :) dont's etc

Thank you all in advance

Keep the lines of communication open -- as you might have gathered this will require work from you --- they are not too hot on it !
Don't look at the 5 years ahead, as time passes think of what you have achieved. If not dwelt upon 5 or 6 years do fly by !
Be open and honest --- work with the IP, not against them.
Use the clearance aisles at the supermarket and freeze stuff near the sell by date for short periods. Only take money out with you when buying things planned for --- a quid here and there on impulse buys really adds up!!
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Good news!
