My offer got accepted today as a full and final. I owed £27000 in total and was offered the full amount I would of paid over the 5 years to end it early. I’ve been trying to sort this since April and due to paperwork it kept being adjourned. I have three children and my biggest regret and shame is getting into debt. I know I never will again bar a mortgage one day I hope. I feel that today is the day I can start living again. Thank you so much for all your help on this site, it’s been invaluable

Thank you all.

What’s the process with credit fix once the payment has gone in? Is there anything that I need to provide before the completion certificate goes through?

Unless they ask, no. You may have to keep pressing for a completion letter.

So far, CF do not seem too awkward or tardy over completion, so, hopefully, it should progress smoothly and not take too long.
