I started my Iva with Debt free Direct in October 2013 and I’m due to make my last payment in May 2020. I sent my annual review back in September 2017. I have rung Aperture who seem to think it must have ‘got lost’ during their takeover of DFD and have made a note on my file! Subsequently I haven’t had an ‘annual’
statement since the end of 2016. I’ve had two creditor annual statements this last week neither of which show any payments. I’ve tried ringing Aperture this morning and you just get a long winded recorded message saying how busy they are before being cut off!

Try ringing the new business line -- that one is usually answered !
It is not unusual for creditor statements to show no payments or to show completely rubbish figures. Aperture have taken on too much work without adequate resourcing and the customers are suffering. I would advocate a formal complaint to the firm as well as to their regulatory body.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Thanks Foggy- I think I prematurely (and incorrectly!) smelled a rat and thought they were going down the same road as DFD! I shall try the other line tomorrow ! I must admit when I’ve rung them about payment breaks ( I’ve had three retinal detachment surgeries, a cataract removal and laser treatment to the damaged eye since September!) they have been brilliant, but like you say the workload must be catching up with them! Thanks again - Sally :
I am currently with Aperture and currently chasing them for my Completion Certificate. I have found pressing option 1 to make a payment a really quick way of getting through!
