Yes once you get your successful CC then you re free to do what you like with your assets.

You may also want to think about tidying up your credit records once you have come off the insolvency register (within 3 months of the CC being issued)

You might find this quick video I made about cleaning up your credit record useful:

Noddle and Clearscore are also free credit agencies to consider using:

Well done on making that final payment. Once you have that certificate in your hands then you are free of the IVA (PPI excepted). Keep it safe !
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Congratulations,

I hope your IVA isn't with Aperture as I to was in this position last week until I contacted them to ask where is my Completion Certificate after a 6 month wait and being assured on 3 separate occasions that my certificate was on its way. I was told last week that the equity release issue hadn't been addressed from 12 months ago and now I'm trying to email them a re-mortgage rejection from Halifax but they are insisting on a full rejection letter which I can not get because I can only apply for an agreement in principle.
Aperture are a bloody nightmare!

I feel for you I am also with Aperture and made a full and final on the 8th December, still awaiting my Completion Certificate. Phoned them when the 6 months was up and was told it would be fast tracked to me within 2 weeks. Called after 2 weeks to be told it hadn't even been looked at but would again be fast tracked to me. 10 days on still no sign....
