my account was sent to Creditfix when Mel sent accounts to them. I have signed nothing to them it just carried on.

I am in final year, I had 6 month extension over time. So end Sept. However this year has been a nightmare,. I had huge vet bills and cost me a fortune and ended up losing my dog, then my family member died and had to help mother with costs.

I missed 3 payments in a row and have contacted IP to say ill pay 2 months end of May and 2 months end of June. IP has a manager ringing to sort with me.

However, I had a call from creditfix and got a rude woman called Leeanne giving me a mouthful telling me they had jumped through hoops to talk to me even though they ignored 7 mails hence why I went to my IP and then told me I was lying. She was then saying I pay now or it fails and I have been warned. I hung up on her and spoke to my IP and they said a manager will deal with her.

Is there anyone you can complain to about how you are dealt with by a firm and also as I am so mad, can the fact I have agreed nothing with creditfix help me?

I also would advise anyone to dodge them. They act like debt collectors rather than to help you

Cases are transferred like this all the time, you have no say and cannot disagree ... so no grounds there. You can only compain about the IP him or her self, not the company. I have raised a Government Petition to get some form of official mediatio put in place: https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/206882 But, with 36 supporters it is goimg nowhere !

I was with Melanie Giles. My account went to Creditfix. I signed no agreement and it just carried on. However I think they had my payments wrong.

Anyhow im into my last year and have had to go a few months with difficulties.

I have had huge vet bill and then I lost someone in family so I have had huge fees to pay so I got stuck and miss 3 months. I made an agreement to pay 2 months end of may and 2 months end of June.

I am speaking to someone about it tomorrow, but I had a rude collections team from creditfix talk to me like garbage and acted like a debt collector and was telling me my IP was wrong and that I was lying even though I sent email. She then threatened me and told me she was failing my IVA and I have been warned

Can I complain about this as doesnt seem right and if I have signed nothing with creditfix can I take any action against them.

Yes you can complain. In the first instance write a letter, specifically to your named IP. Send it recorded, signed for. If you are not satisfied with the IP's findings you can escalate the complaint to the governing body of the company and then to the government gateway. Some desk jockys get a bit puffed up when given a little bit of power and unfortunately believe that they have the right and are in the right to talk to people like it is them you owe!
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues

Absolurety you can complain - if you have the agreement of two month payments in May and June in writing on an email then you need to send a copy of this in to your IP - as suggested tte caseworker you have spoken to appears to have left their manners at home and you should seek direct support from your IP in this matter.

Thanks all.

I wouldn;t mind but my IP had said that a manager woudl contact me and put me in contact but this girl on the phone said I was lying, I even had to send a copy of the email from my IP and she still didnt believe me and said she was failing my IVA.

The IP contact rang me this morning and helped me out.

I think my problem is, I wouldn;t call them a case worker, it was a member of collections, but the way she spoke to people is wrong. She was asking me to prove someone had died, long story, but reason I got behind. Paid 4 years without problems and just last 6 months I had a few issues.

Surely dealing with people in IVA should be a process handled with some care and not like debt collectors which we tried to get away from originally.

It is diffcult as IP has done so much, i just want to make sure the company are investigated as it really was a bad conversation.

Thanks
:)
