So, after initially contacting Creditfix in November 2017, I have at last been advised today that they have requested a variation meeting on 7 March to ask my creditors to accept payments made to date as full and final settlement (I have made 48 payments so far).
On the papers I have been sent, that I believe have also gone to the creditors, there is no mention of why the variation has been requested - I am concerned that the creditors will not know about my change in circumstances. Is the normal?
Also, does anyone know if the creditors are likely to accept this type of request?
Have CF made any recommendation on the paperwork? My IVA was closed on payments made to date after 30- odd payments, due to unforseen circumstances. My IP did not go into detail on my variation report, but did recommend acceptance.

No, there is absolutely nothing on the paperwork, except for a request for the IVA to be closed early and a request from CF for £300 for calling the variation meeting.
I have emailed CF but they aren’t great at replying
Still no response from CF as to why no reason for variation is included in the ‘pack’ sent to creditors.
I’ve been to see the Debt Advisor at CAB this morning and she was ‘surprised’ that I was not contacted by CF after my initial email in November to request further information/evidence relating to my change of circumstances.
That they didn’t inform me that a variation meeting had been called.
That there is no reason for the variation listed and no IP recommendation.
Revised I&E is not included.
Has anyone got any further suggestions please?
Variation is on 7 March, I was notified on 22 Feb by CF after putting in a complaint.
All I can suggest at this late stage is to hope and pray it goes through --- then make a complaint via the government gateway, to their regulatory body.
CF are looking like the EasyJet of the insolvency industry --- no frills, basic service and do as little work as possible to maximise profits.

Just an update in the hope it might help others in choosing an IP. (I did not choose them - was transferred over from PJG).
CF have eventually replied and sent me an ‘amended’ variation document which now includes a short paragraph about my change in circumstances. It also states that the Supervisor has confirmed my disposable income is Nil and my only other option is bankruptcy.
Whether the creditors will also be sent this amended version before or on 7 March is anyone’s guess!? If I hadn’t queried it I very much doubt the extra info would have been added.
Thank you Foggy for all you help and you’re dead right about the Eastjet anology (more like Ryanair)
I would tell them that BR is not an option - I had to do that with Payplan.

Lord knows, how I would get the BR fees together but that’s a worry for another day.........
If the creditors or IP want to consider making you BR (which is unlikely) they have to pay the fees, not you.

Does that mean that its been accepted?
Huff
Given the usual timescales for these things, along with CF's inability to communicate the time of day. I would tread warily. To get a completion certificate issued in the day the variation was accepted would be miraculous in itself ... to get those from CF sounds like an admoninistrative error !

I’ve read through the email quite a few times now to make sure!
And I’ve had a 2nd email that says the creditors have accepted the variation and the ‘arrangement has been successfully closed and completed on 7 March 2018’
There is a completion certificate - one page with my name and adress on. Also an IP’s final report - a couple of pages.
Is this what I should expect to get?
Sounds right - you should also get it via post. Hold fire before you do anything else as it is very quick indeed.

I know I was a bit surprised to put it mildly - especially going on past performance.
They said I should either print off the certificate and it gives the addresses of the 3 main CRA’s or wait until the original comes in the post (which had been sent 1st) and photocopy it.
