I have a CCJ on my credit file which is due to drop off on 7th July 2018 (six years from default date).
I also have an IVA which has been settled which is due to drop off on 2nd July 2020 (six years from default date).
My question is, will my credit rating improve at all once the CCJ has been removed even though the IVA is still on there? I am doing everything possible to improve my credit file at present.
It may improve slightly once the ccj drops off but the main improvement will be once the IVA and any associated Defaults fall off the reports 6 years after the IVA start date.

IVA Mortgage advice needed? Looking at Right to Buy and completed IVA still on credit files ?
As Ryan says, the elephant in the room will be the IVA. While that is on file it will overshadow everything and keep your credit score in the doldrums ... but, you can still use the time to build a good history, so you can hit the ground running in 2020.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
