So happy! Just been approved for our joint IVA I could cry with relief. I had a terrible gambling addiction, racked up £125k debt, been gamble free for just over a year now but the debts were just going nowhere....finally asked for help and so glad I did. I have put my husband through hell and back but now there is light at the end of the tunnel. No more dreading looking at credit card balances each month. Thank you to all of you on this site who have put up with all my questions over the past month this site is worth it's weight in gold. Now off to buy some bubbles (prosecco obvs cos I can't afford champers haha)..................wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Brilliant news - really pleased for you.
Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt

Well done on the IVA and especially on being gamble free, that couldn’t have been easy at all so well done! Onwards and upwards from here on! And yes, this forum is amazing! I didn’t find it until I was 3/4 way through my Iva and I started to struggle so cane here looking for help, everyone was amazing! My IVA finished a little over a month ago when my creditors accepted funds paid to date and agreed to end my IVA but I’m finding myself constantly on the forum having a browse now!
IVA completed (with funds paid to date) 4th October 2017.......Completion certificate received 23rd December 2017 :D
