Morning all
After reading and occasionally posting on this forum over the last six years, we made our last payment in February, since then we have received our completion certificate, checked our credit file and have received a loan from the Nationwide for double glazing.
I just wanted to reassure people that there can be a bright future.
Stick with it
Great post rockhound thankyou.
So good to see mainstream lenders accepting you so quickly. I bank with nationwide so my long term plan isto upgrade my current account and after getting a credit building card for a while move to a nationwide one so great to see good news re them.
Yes, a clean Credit file and probably no history of default with NW would suggest no problem with small loans.I like this post.I bank with them maybe you do and the history helps. Any larger loan then I would have gone on a prayer as the mother of checks might come in.
High Street lenders are still a problem with very large loans if a default history exist.Going back to borrow from the previous lender[settled] you previously defaulted is still a risk????
Good afternoon,
longtime no type- just wanted to give you a further update- things seem to be going well- we moved our Northern Rock mortgage a month after the loan for the double glazing to Nationwide- we have since been accepted for various credit cards- we keep a close eye on everything- The IVA was a valuable lesson that has been life changing in a positive way- keep going there is light at the end of the tunnel.
