Hi,
I'm year 5 of an IVA, out of curiosity checked my credit report online and noticed a search from my IVA company Creditfix a couple of months ago.
Is this usual for them to check my credit file? We have had correspondence from Just Lending regarding year 5 equity release (only in Initial email), but won't be able to release equity and gathering own paperwork to prove this so haven't filled out thier paperwork or given permission for them to credit search me.
I guess it doesn't matter as I won't be applying for any credit in the near future but don't really understand why they have searched my file?

Creditfix are really bad at explaining things and I have a feeling that after charities have received their fines or warnings they are next on the list for not understanding their responsibilities.
The links between them, just lending and whoever they use for ppi are convoluted. It's probably part of the process around understanding what is possible.
From may 2018 if they keep on doing this type of thing without explanation the company and their IPs are likely to get attention they do not want.
