I have been in an IVA successfully for 32 months and it should run for 6 years. I have asked my IVA company various questions over the past year but I never receive a response so hoping someone on here can help. My incomehasdropped by roughly £100 since starting but my payments never changewhy is this? My husbands income had increased by over £200 per month but his personal allowance has never been increased. This seems unfair as he's basically covering my IVE payment. Now his wages have dropped and we are starting to struggle what are my options? Can my payment be reduced?I don't want to take a break as I don't wan tthe IVA extended. Do IVA companies have a duty to reply in a certain time? I enquired how much of my Christmas bonus I needed to pay in Decemeber, I still haven't heard back. It took 4 months for my annual review to be completed. I also enquired about borrowing money for a car but no-one got back to me and that was in April 2016!
Sorry to hear of your problems - which company are you with?

Just clocked that you are with Payplan - are you registered with Payplan Plus? Might be good to contact them via that site or, contact your IP directly.

Who are you with ? Have you been doing full annual reviews ? Have you been disputing them ?
If you are getting no response to queries you should lodge a formal complaint, in writing by recorded delivery. If that doesn't resolve the situation you can escalate the complaint to their regulators.
You really need to re-read your proposal and Chairman's Report to become aware of your rights under the terms>Ye,there is usually a clause allowing the IP to reduce by up to 15% without referring back to the creditors, larger reductions can also be agreed with a variation meeting. Your paperwork will also detail the approach required re the bonus, which is usually dealt with in one of two ways :- the 10% 50/50 rule, or straight 50/50
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

I see Kallis has determined you are with Payplan ----- yes ... they are the only firm I know of who take a partners salary into the IVA which does mean he is actually paying some of your debt ! You do need a full review.

I was with Payplan when in a DMP but after bad advice from them and better advice on here my IVA is with Debt Free Direct. When my IVA was set up they gave my husband an allowance as his earnings are significantly higher than mine. I have the 10% 50/50 clause for my bonus but asked them to clarify because after my last review it showed an overpayment. Not sure how this came about. They did respond asking for a copy of my payslip which I immediately provided but I've heard nothing since. I just get fed up chasing themall the time. It took 15 emails/telephone calls to find out the outcome of my annual review as I have enquired about changing the payment. I never got a full response just a one line email saying it was continuing.
Didn't realise that you had changed from a DMP to an IVA with a different company. Try emailing your IP directly - the details should be in your paperwork and also check the Insolvency Register to find out contact details.
