Hi guys

I'm probably being very impatient here but does anyone know if your IR entry changes to 'completed' for a period of time before it drops of at the three month date? And then does it just disappear from your credit reports after that?

I'm a month completed and still showing as current.

Thanks!

Have you had your completion certificate yet ? It will fall off the Register within three months of the date of issue --- often to the day -- in the meantime it will be marked completed. Credit files are a different animal --- have a read here:

Hi. Just a little info that may give you hope . My wife received her completion certificate with a date on of the 3rd January.
I checked the insolvency register today & her name has been removed.
Keep smiling. It could be worse.

Thanks for that, I'm still showing as current so I think a little email to CreditFix might be in order!

It should be within 3 months of receiving your CC. It will drop off automatically but doesn't necessarily mean your credit record will be corrected...!

You might find this quick video I made about cleaning up your credit record useful:

Noddle and Clearscore are also free credit agencies to consider using:

Hi guys

Just thought I'd post an update. I contacted Credifix and asked if the paperwork was complete as we were still showing as current on the Insolvency Register. They said it was but would send to the IR again.

I week or so later hubby's entry had disappeared but mine was still there, so I used this link - https://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk ... laint.aspx and sent them a copy of my completion certificate. A few days later I was gone...yay!!!

Hubby's credit score went from 326 to 611 (ClearScore I think) - Poor to Good, literally overnight. Just waiting for the month to come round and see what mine will be.

Feeling like it really is all over!

Next step will be remortgage.

Cheers, have a great week :)

Good news!

Ryan and Shaun are the forums remortgage specialists so you might like to have a chat with them, especially if it's not been 6 years since you started your IVAs yet.
