I'm just in the middle of a successful re-mortgage and the mortgage company's solicitors have written to me to say that there is still a restriction on my property in the name of Melanie Giles and the IVA Advice Bureau - but am I right in thinking that she has stopped trading? I need it removing ASAP - can anyone help please, I don't want to lose my new mortgage.

The charge is usually lifted at the same time the certificate is issued but is sometimes overlooked or simply not acted upon at Land Registry.
