Will the IVA that I finished in 2012, and is no longer on my credit file, come back and bite me ?

I completed my IVA in 2012 then the dreaded forced PPI letters came. I never wanted any PPI I was relieved it was all over but it's not :(

There's something I don't understand. All of my creditors come under the same financial institution but are 3 separate brands so to speak so why are they robbing Peter to pay Paul? Plus there's 3 x FOS hefty FOS fee's for them to pay now because my 'solicitor' wasnt happy with the offers they forced me to sign these FOS forms this isn't fair especially when I couldnt pay my own debt which was my own fault.

One of the creditors sent me a letter and yet advised they would send me a cheque but the 'solicitor' is making me sign it over to them. I'm quite angry with this they just want their 60% of the cash that they forced me to claim when I wanted to let sleeping dogs lie.

Is there anything I can do to end this nightmare? I f I refuse to have anything more to do with this and let nature take its course will my IVA that ended in 2012 and is no longer on my credit file come back to bite me?

Is there anyone I can complain to? What would happen if I told the bank to just send me the cheque, surely if they are giving it me it's mine or they would just give me nothing and offset it against the debts I have with their other brands to balance the books?

Sorry for the long post. Just fed up!

Unfortunately it will still be classed as an asset to go towards your creditors unless you had managed to pay back 100p in the pound plus fees and statutory interest.

I am assuming by solicitor you mean the IP?

You did not need to do anything once the IVA was over. If you are to continue helping the IP and their PPI agents you should insist on a cut or refuse to sign anything else.

Did you assign the PPI over? If so the asset belongs to the IVA and is for the Supervisor to sort out, not you. You are no longer bound by the IVA t&cs as your IVA has completed.

If you didn't sign an assignment agreement then whether or not you get to keep the PPI is dependent on the outcome of the Green V Wright case, which I think is due any day now.
