Can I leave my IVA ? I initially thought this was a free government scheme.

I remember adverts claiming all sorts re ivas. We were with Cleardebt and I think they deserve every penny, that said, I have always looked at it as though the creditors are paying the fees as they wrote off more debt because of them. I would like to hope I would have thought the same had I had been lucky enough to be able to repay the creditors in full!

Cleardebt were ok - unfortunately they are going to face the situation that PJG did - good people, guidance correct (generally) but the reputational damage linked to continued trading after you let a large proportion of your clients go is catastropthic.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.
