Hi, I am currently in an IVA but with only 3 months left to complete my payment, my annual review was not done last year, my bills and rent increased so when i tried adding it to my expenditure i was left with -£197.00 from my monthly payment of £171.00 so i decided not to add it inorder not to fail my IVA as i had a few months left, I resorted to doing overtime to make up for the shortfall in my household spending so i didnt declare my overtime to my IVA company, as it's in my contract that i will have to pay 50 percent of overtime in to my plan, so im just worried if there will get me to pay back all the overtime before they sign me off or there actually accept my explanation.

Hi Vidal

As your expenditure increased I would hope your IP can use a bit of discretion not to worry about this but they may do a review of your last years income in which case I'm afraid they could ask for you to pay the overtime but the worst case should be that you will extend your IVA a little longer whilst you make up the payments.
