Hi
Had my CC TODAY[:D] ppi interest claimed from ppi was £1152.45 but GT only paying me back 414.75! They say they had deducted costs but that like 60+% costs to GT!! Is this correct.

Only one claim from one company who we claimed the money back on behalf of GT the total paid into iva was £12545.43!!!

Thanks
Karen

Congrats on getting your CC. I haven't/wont be pursuing the PPI interest back from GT. As far as I am concerned my IVA is over, finished and part of my history. It isn't something that is going to be consuming my life anymore.
Last Payment made 04/12/14. Completion Certificate 25/7/15. IVA company GT. No Issues

Merlin

Tbh I had forgotten about the ppi but when I spoke to them on the telephone the other day they asked for my bank account details as ther said I would have payment within 2 weeks. Although pleased it's all over after 6 long years I'm still upset that 4 of those years they insisted my work expenses was extra income I argued year after year but they still increased my payments to an unmanageable level to the point we went to variation and my payments where lowered but an extra year was added!!
Then I became seriously ill was off work for 8 months down to half pay etc........ Next review they admitted they calculated my I&e wrong for 4 years and I had overpaid by £4500 but they wouldn't give me any money back. I only was able to pay my Iva by working 60 hours of overtime per month and giving them 100% back to make the payments!!
So when they owe my money back I'm going to take it but I think they are once again grabbing every last penny out of me as been awarded £1152 but only receiving £414 after fees is a bit much!?

Just want clarification if this amount of fees is correct. I feel in a stronger position now I'm free from Iva to argue with them as my life no longer in their hands.

I think you will need to ask GT to justify how the costs were approved and authorised to get your answer.
