I am hoping to settle my IVA early (am just waiting for a creditors meeting to be called). If I am lucky enough to have it accepted, what can I do to repair my credit file between now and the end of the term ? I am only 18 months into my IVA.

Unfortunately your IVA will stay on your record for the full six years regardless.

Once you have a completion letter you can write to any creditors who have defaulted you after the start date of the IVA. You will need to check all three agencies, Call Credit (Noddle), Experian and Equifax.

Here is an informative link of what you can be working towards once the IVA comes off your file.

Good luck for your F&F meeting.
