Ok here i am after 5yrs of paying IVA payments and it has been a struggle i must say but i thank God i made the full payment last month. I have since spoken to my IP after the last payment and he said that was the last one and that he will cancel my direct debit. He also states that he will require my payslips for the last 12 months which i have sent to him. Now the next question i asked him is that where do i go from here i.e. is there anything i must do at my end or my IP must do?
I am still awaiting a reply from him but in the meantime any advice will be appreciated please...

Hi

You need the all important completion certificate from your IP so do ask when they expect to send this to you

Well done for completing your IVA

Well done for completing and I would also cancel the DD don't just depend on them to do it.

Once your certificate is received and 6 years from meeting date has passed you can start to clean up credit files.

That is a useful link that may help. Well done on completing, I know it's not easy.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

As long as your pay has not changed in the last 12 months all you will have to do is sit back and wait for your CC which could take a couple of weeks or a few months depending on who you're with.
