My IVA was completed in September 2014. I have one stubborn creditor who is will not update my credit file. They have not reported anything on the credit file for 5 years I was in the IVA and then suddenly from Feb-July 2014 (July 2014 ws the 6 year anniversary) they started report adversely that the account was in arrears. I have asked them to remove the adverse entries but all they have done is marked it as settled on the date of my completion certificate (and this was after the intervention of Equifax). I am trying to upgrade my professional membership now I am free of my IVA and I cannot get through the credit check and do not want to have to explain this to my employers as they don't know about the IVA. I have writen to the creditor every 28 days since September. The ICO and they tell me to give them another 28 days. Can anyone suggest any remedy?

I'm still struggling with getting an old egg loan entry sorted. Wrongly dated default but everyone denying its theirs to sort. Thought I was getting somewhere with canada square operations but everytime I send in what they want they write back a month later wanting more evidence!!
The default drops off next month so not too big a deal, just annoying as other than that my file is clear.
