Can PPI be paid to Grant Thornton ?

We have paid our Iva with a few payment over a year ago PPI from Bar clay card have informed us they have paid it to Grant Thornton even though we sent them our completion cert can they do this

Yes unfortunalty most company's (inc GT) state that PPI remains an assett of the IVA even after the completion cert is issued. They may give you back some of the interest element though.
Try contacting them and asking what their stance is. If it is a smallish amount they may take the view that it is not worth them doing the admin to contact all the creditors and issue the funds out, and send it all to you

Hi. I can only agree with PJ there. GT, especially, are known to grab every penny possible on behalf of the creditors and, due to their size, can, it seems, absorb much of the cost of digging out old files.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
