Completed my Iva in May of this year and since then have been trying to clear up my credit report since then. All of the companies bar 1 have complied and put my debt as satisfied and i am having real problems with the last creditor, they are Apex Credit Management , they have still got me owing £7000 on an old Barclaycard debt, it is showing default and the date of the default is April of this year so they defaulted my account during my IVA , which i believe they are not able to do.
I have contacted them almost every two weeks since my IVA completed to get this corrected, i get passed from pillar to post, apparently departments within this company can only email each other with a 7 day response time, i have been promised call backs which never happen, i get given false names. I have sent my documentation into them twice by recorded mail, they deny getting them, i have sent them by fax and email twice and still no change. I am at the end of tether with this , apparently now any change takes up to two months. I am sick of spending 45 minutes on the phone at 0845 costs to go through it all again and again, to get fobbed off.
Is there anything i can do about this as this black mark on my credit report is stopping my family from moving on, please anybody help me out, lots of thanks Gavin

You need to contact the data controller for the company (not customer services) use the template letter on here - send it recorded it gives them 28 days to mark you file correctly. If they fail to do this use the ICO website and submit a formal complaint - with a copies of letter you have already sent to the company
