I just had a letter from my IP telling me of companies trying to say IVAs were missed sold. What has alarmed me in this generic letter it says my IVA has gone to the closure team. This IVA was settled early 2.5yrs ago and I was given a completion certificate!

I still get 6 monthly/Yearly chasers from credit card companies.

Does this explain why i still cant get any credit ? ie the IVA isn't showing as completed and/or debt remains in default rather then 'settled'

You need to check the Insolvency Register to make sure you have been removed. Also get a copy of your credit file from each of the three agencies to see what is held on there.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

Hi stewpots .... Long time no speak! As foggy suggests get a copy of your credit files and check to make sure the iva is no longer shoeing. It does seem a little strange that after all this time you are still getting chased !
Can't remember ... When did your iva start and did you complete via a early f&f ? This may be an area to consider

Are you past the 6 year mark? I note you said your IVA was completed early?

Great advice above, do check insolvency register and credit files.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
