Well my only other option was bankrupcy and it that happened i would have lost my job and would never be able to practice again in my field. So it was a no-brainer really. I would have signed anything

For these reasons all of the IPs in my practice speak to their clients at various stages of the process and ensure that our clients are fully conversant with all of the terms. I am very happy to say that I have never had a complaint from someone claiming not to have understood the terms and conditions of their own IVA, but then perhaps as a smaller more specialist firm we do have more time to spend with the guys that choose to instruct us.
