Hello, I have been struggling to afford my iva but still paying it fine and on time. I have taken on a weekend job to help along side my full time job. How will this affect my iva? Also do I need to tell my landlord about my iva if I am a lodger in her house? Many thanks in advance.

Hi Summer. Much depends upon the terms written into your own proposal, however, the general rule is that you will have to pay 50% of the extra earnings (after tax etc) into the IVA.

Your landlord need not know about your IVA, assuming that you do not owe rent, so that she doesn't become one of your creditors.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
