Just a quick question I was wondering about- if you have an iva taken out,for example, under 2008 protocol,is that what governs you for the whole of your iva or do any updates/revised conditions apply to you too?
Thanks

I'd think it was the protocol that the agreement was drawn under, as I understand it the protocol is a template fr the individual agreement, which once agreed is binding.

I suppose the agreement could allow for automatic changes, you'd have to check yours. I could imagine this being a nightmare for all parties though.

Your own proposal, under whichever protocol ( or none at all) is a contract in it's own right and can only be changed by agreement of all parties, or under any terms agreed within the original document. New Protocols coming out will have no effect.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
