Hi All...

Just been catching up on a few posts re ppi. I'm still waiting for my cc... paid my last payment in July 2013... EIC via GT supposed to be looking into ppi on my behalf.

Interesting point... I was told that not going down this route could cause my iva to fail.. cue another mis-selling scandal...

I have played nicely so far, but this month, I'm getting more assertive. There should be time limits on this, iva s in the main have been 'sold' without mentioning any of this!!! Plain scandalous.

I've paid my dues on time and to the rules. I'd like my life back please.
The best thing I ever did - at last I'm in control!

Hi, I read this post and the reply with a wry smile. I made a full and final payment 29.06.2012 and STILL have no certificate of completion and why did I hear you ask....because PPi's were not completed , do I hear you say but surely they are by now...hell yes they were completed out of 4 I think 1 was eligible payout, so was that it then CofC on its way but no wait a minute lets go back even further to 4 more claims from years back not even associated with my IVA and lets see what we can get from then so far out of the 4 two say nothing to repay and still waiting to hear from the other two. So yes not only is this ppi business a fiasco I am begining to think certain IVA companies are also a fiasco, keeping every bit of paperwork, telephone calls dates etc to demonstrate what a fiasco....but who too??? who cares ????

Your IP is acting quite appropriately if they are investigating whether there is any mis-sold PPI on debts which you had paid off prior to the IVA being accepted. One does wonder, however, why all claims were not investigated at the same time.

But how do you question that and who do you raise that question with your IVA company or those chasing the PPi ?
