Hi Everyone,

Just thought I would share my news that my IVA journey is officially over as I have now after 11 months after my final payment (due to PPI issues, then a paperwork backlog) received my Certificate of Completion from Kingsgate.

It has been by no means an easy journey; one which at times I doubted I would ever get to the end of, but to any of you out there reading this who are at the beginning or midway through your journey and feeling a bit low (I have been there too) there really is a light at the end of the tunnel and you can & will get there.

I am now looking forward to what life will bring in the future & funnily enough have still been sticking to living on a tight budget like when in the IVA & am happy with it!

Before I sign off I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the forum, as it has been a place I have regularly visited over the years as my first port of call for information. I don't know what I would have done without you!

Wishing you all the best for the future!

Not sure whether to say well done for taking 11 months to close your case, but guess that you are pleased with the result and can now put this behind you.

Glad you have found the forum of assistance to you throughout the process.

Well done, Goby, on persevering to the conclusion of your arrangement and beyond.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Yes I know what you mean Mel, but looking on the bright side I now only have a month before I can officially begin to try & rebuild my credit score to hopefully one day be in a position to buy a house. I would like to thank you as a frequent forum reader for taking the time out of your busy schedule to respond to as many posts as you do even when it is not your clients asking the questions. I know I will not be the only one who recognizes your dedication to the forum & appreciates it greatly. Wishing you all the best for the future!

Thank you very much Foggy & thank you for all of your contributions. Many a post I have read where you have provided the answer I needed. All the best to you too!

At least you're nearly there now and good luck with clearing credit files I'm sure that'll possibly be a lot quicker for you.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.
