Not for me sadly but for my friend who has a failed IVA which has just dropped off her record (6 years has passed). She has a stable job, a decent deposit - what are her chances of getting a mortgage or does she need to do some serious credit building first?

Best advice is to seek advice from a specialist mortgage broker who has experience of sourcing mortgages for those with history of bad credit. The forum has two experts in Ryan znd Shaun who may be able to help.... Contact details on the left under meet the experts or via A-Z list of members
Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !

Look at my blog "All I wanted was a baby"

Hi,
Not sure if she should be looking to buy a house, if she has failed an IVA, but i would be happy to discuss her situation and advise her if this is possible.
Please advise her to get in contact with me directly
Thanks
