Hi
Our IVA was accepted on 15th Oct and now we have received a letter from one of our creditors demanding full payment. THe letter states litigation.
They didn't even bother to vote in the creditors meeting. Do we inform ourIP or ring the company up direct Felling a little sick and the worrying has now begun again.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you x

Forward it to your IP its thier job to deal with it now IVA is active that company has no right to demand money as long as they listed as creditors on IVA.
Time to end of IVA 0 days
Time to end of GT dealing with it...CC recieved after a battle royal !!

You are fully protected by your approved IVA. This creditor has probably not updated the different departmental records... Your IP will resolve this for you.

Forward all mail from any creditors to your IP they will deal with everything. That's one of the great things about an iva this sort of stress is taken off you. And if you get any phone calls from creditors you just refer them to your company and put the phone down. Don't engage in conversation with them because they will probably try to get you to pay them something. this happened to us at the start of our iva but our company were really good at taking all the stress from us. Good luck on your journey to debt freedom.
Life after IVA is wonderful.

The creditor probably have not updated their system yet to reflect that you are in an IVA, so don't worry too much about this but it is a good idea to send the paperwork on to your IP to be on the safe side.
