After enquiring to GT about how long my IVA has to run and what I owe to completion, I have received the following response.

We have raised an urgent closure review to see if you have met all of your obligations. This can take up to 6 months.

Does this mean that as I am now (this month) entering in to my 8th year I could potentially have money to come back? Do I carry on with my monthly payments of £267 until I hear from them or stop payments?

Was the IVA meant to run over 5 years? If so, I cannot see why it takes them nearly three years to sort this out. How many monthly payments have you actually made, and was the IVA extended at all to cover arrears?
